Jamaica’s First Casino Resort to Open This Fall!

Big news for Jamaica lovers! This November, the island of Jamaica will welcome its very first resort casino at the Princess Grand Jamaica.

Princess Grand Jamaica and Princess Senses The Mangrove are separate distinct resorts, though both are part of the larger Princess Hotels & Resorts complex near Negril in Jamaica. Princess Senses The Mangrove is an adults-only resort while Princess Grand Jamaica is designed for families.

Princess Senses The Mangrove features 14 luxurious overwater villas.

They offer two types of Overwater Villas:​

• Overwater Villa with Infinity Pool: 12 villas - each villa includes a private bedroom with a partially glass floor, a terrace over the water, and a private infinity pool.

• Princess Overwater Villa with Infinity Pool: 2 villas providing an even more exclusive experience, featuring larger living spaces and premium amenities.

The Princess Grand Jamaica is a stunning all-inclusive property with oceanview suites, including Family and Master Suites, plus three pools, eight bars, and nine incredible dining venues.

But what really sets this resort apart? It will be Jamaica’s first-ever casino hotel, marking an exciting new chapter in the country’s tourism landscape.

Jamaica’s Tourism Minister recently emphasized that the country isn't trying to become a full-blown casino destination—rather, it’s adding new entertainment options to elevate the vacation experience for guests. The casino will be fully integrated into the resort (no standalone casinos are planned), offering an exciting bonus for travelers looking to mix in a little gaming with their island escape.

The casino at Princess Grand Jamaica is expected to be accessible to the general public upon its opening, which is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2025.
